Could You Eat The World’s Largest Burger?

Have you ever demolished a giant burger and not been satisfied? How about a 150lb cheeseburger?

 

A bar in Detroit is already renowned for its massive 6- and 12- pound hamburgers, but last Spring it broke the untouched world record for the planet’s biggest commercially sold burger.

 

 

Weighing exactly 1,794lb, the beef monster was flipped by three cooks, on a custom made grill. Constructed with 2000lb of raw meat, the burger is then topped with 300lb of cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and pickles. The bread bun weighs 250lbs.

 

The burger measures three feet tall and five feet wide and is on Mallie’s Sports Bar & Grill’s menu at the wholesome price of $7,799. The bar must have three days notice to cook it!
